Need a website
for your business, books or art? Trying to expand your client base?
To tell people exactly what you do? Bring your books to a wider
audience? Get more speaking engagements? Virtually visit book clubs
around the country? A beautiful, elegant
website can help you get your work in front of your target audience.
I design websites
for writers, artists, illustrators, and small businesses all over
the country. My goal is to find your style and then design
a website that reflects your personality as well as your visual
aesthetic. Working closely with each client,
I create websites that make them look good and get more
business, more sales, more clients. No annoying
animations that require three new programs, no grating music loops,
no predesigned templates. Just classy, easy-to-navigate, intelligent
websites.Do
you feel confused about what you need, how to start, what a website
is exactly? No worries: most of my clients---all smart, savvy and
sophisticated---have many of the same questions. I'll walk you through
the conceptual and design stages, and help you set up your domain
name, hosting, email and more.
Prices range
from $850-$5,000 depending on the scope and complexity of the project.
All sites are custom designed, and include all programming, testing,
meta-tags for search engines and help with hosting, domain and email
setup. Click here for rates
I am also available
to do updates on existing websites for an hourly ($75/hr) or monthly
rate (price per project).
COMING
SOON: Websites for Abby Werlock, LM Salon, Sasha Gailbraith, The
Author's Assistant and Jess Riley. |

Michelle
Moran
Michelle
Moran's new book, Nefertiti: A Novel, comes out this July
and will soon be followed by another new historical novel. In preparation
for these imminent releases, Moran wanted a full redesign of her
100 page website with improved looks, organization and pizazz. It
had to feel classy and historical, but not reminiscent of one particular
period or country.
Not
only does the website have a gorgeous
flash intro, it features an Interactive
Family Tree of the 18th Dynasty; a dynamic
navigation bar; bookclub,
mailing list and contest entry forms; a gallery
of travel photos from Andorra to Zimbabwe; and pages and pages of
research on Egyptian history.
We
also created a custom-designed
blog for articles and commentary on history and archaeology.

This "why
didn't I think of that?" business turns the painful process
of writing your online profile for e-dating into a professional
marketing exercise. Two experienced writers/marketing geniuses help
create a profile that's "witty, fun, and says 'I’m worth
a second look'– without laying it on too thick."
These clients
wanted a non-traditional site that defies the cheesy stereotypes
of e-dating: no desperation, no soft focus couple photos, no hearts
or cupids. Based on their tongue-in-cheek, slightly ironic sensibility,
we incorporated images of love through the ages, everything from
Elizabeth Bennett and Darcy to pulp romance book covers. It also
incorporates a contact form for potential clients.
